The Paladins Global Series is HERE!

 
With the announcement of our new Facebook Global Series for Paladins, we would like to go over some information about how the tournament series will be run, and cover any questions you have as an aspiring competitor.

 

Q: When does the Paladins Global Series begin?

A: The Paladins Global Series is set to kick off around the world starting August 1, 2017.

 

Q: Is this available for console players?
A: No. The Global Series is only available for PC currently.

 

Q: Where can I find additional information about the Global Series?
A: Our main hub for the Global Series can be found here:

Each non-english speaking region (CIS/Brazil/LatAm) will have their own group with everything in their native language soon.

 

Q: Where will the Paladins Global Series be streamed?
A: All Paladins Global Series matches will be streamed on our official Paladins Facebook channel

 

Q: What regions can compete in the Paladins Global Series?

A: North America, Europe, Brazil, Latin America, Oceania, Southeast Asia, and Russia.

 

Q: I’m interested in competing but not sure where to start. What do I do??
A: Each region will have their own proprietary process for signing up and competing. If you’re competing in NA/EU, you can follow the following process. If you’re competing from another region, stay tuned for more detailed information for your region:

  • Form a 5-man team and join the official Paladins Global Series discord channel: https://discord.gg/3p28ttW
  • Wait until sign-up day each week where you will complete a google form with your team information
  • You will play all of your games the day of your tournament

 

Q: Can I compete in 2 regions at once?
A: No. You may only compete in 1 region of Paladins Global Series at a time. For example, if you live in Russia, you must choose between EU and CIS.

 

Q: I’m from Africa or India. Can I still compete?

A: Yes. If you are from India, you may compete in SEA. If you are from Africa, you may compete in EU.

 

Q: What is the tournament format?

A: Format:

All weeks:

  • 2 Weeks Single Elimination – top 2 teams advance to Monthly Finals
    • Week 1 – Seed 1 & 2 qualify
    • Week 2 – Seed 3 & 4 qualify
  • 1 Week – Single Elimination – Top 4 make advance to Monthly Finals
    • Week 3 – Seed 5, 6, 7, & 8 qualify
    • Bronze match is held week 3 to determine seeding
  • 1 Week – Monthly Finals – Single Elimination – 8 Teams

 

Tournament Format: (All Weeks)

  • Round 1 through Semifinals: Best of 3
  • Finals: Best of 5

 

Q: What are the prizes??

A: Money and crystals!

 

NA/EU/OCE Prizing

For Monthly Finals (every 4th week)

1st:  $2,000

2nd:  $1,250

3rd:  $1,000

4th:  $750

5th:  $500 + 300 crystals per player

6th:  $500 + 300 crystals per player

7th:  $500 + 300 crystals per player

8th:  $500 + 300 crystals per player

 

SEA/Brazil/LatAm/CIS Prizing

For Monthly Finals (every 4th week)

1st:  $1,500

2nd:  $700

3rd:  $350

4th:  $350

5th:  $150 + 300 crystals per player

6th:  $150 + 300 crystals per player

7th:  $150 + 300 crystals per player

8th:  $150 + 300 crystals per player

 

Q: Is there any crystal prizing for teams who don’t qualify for the playoff week each week?
A: Yes!


Prizing:

For Monthly Finals qualifying weeks:

  1. 800 crystals per player
  2. 600 crystals per player
  3. 400 crystals per player
  4. 400 crystals per player
